Niagara Falls is continuing its celebration of Canada 150 throughout the summer, and it's doing so in an absolutely spectacular way.

At the start of July, Niagara Parks introduced a special night time experience that allowed visitors to go behind Horseshoe Falls after dark, while it is illuminated. This is an added feature to their Journey Behind The Falls attraction.

Visitors will be treated to the light show from a viewing platform that offers a unique view of the Falls, as well as to a series of fireworks displays that will run until September 4, 2017. To get to the viewing platform, they will traverse through a network of tunnels where the roar of the Falls echoes powerfully through.

The night time experience will be available from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm, with up to 150 people at a time. Tickets are $18 per adult (13+ years) and $12 per youth.
