This New Floating Water Park In Barrie Is The Coolest Way To Go Swimming

Saturday, Aug 12 10:12 AM

Looking for a unique way to cool down this summer? In Barrie, a new floating waterpark adds a fun twist to your lake swims.

The 13,000-square-foot apparatus was developed by Okanagan Wibit, which operates parks in multiple areas in British Columbia. It has been set up just off the shore of Kempenfelt Bay at Centennial Beach, and just opened this past June. It is the first of its kind in Ontario, and is open everyday from 10 am to 8 pm.

The water park consists of inflatable play areas that are interconnected to create a continuous obstacle course. Okanagan Wibit hopes to make this an recurring attraction in Barrie every summer.

Admission prices to the park are as follows:

    5-day pass: $99
    3-day pass: $75
    All-day pass: $25
    Evening pass: $15
