As prepared as South Florida was for Hurricane Matthew, the region dodged the worst of the storm and now has a three-day weekend. After the shutters get pulled down and the patio furniture put back, people are going to want to find something to do this weekend.

But with so many events canceled across South Florida, what’s there to do?

â–ª  The Miami Seaquarium reopens Friday, as well as the Perez Art Museum Miami.

â–ª  The Harvest Festival in Flamingo Gardens is still on, however, activities (hayrides, pumpkin decorating, bounce house, Scarecrow competition) will be on Sunday.

â–ª  HistoryMiami is still hosting a Free Museum Day on Saturday, though it has canceled its 11 Most Endangered Buildings in Miami Tour with Paul George (which was set for Saturday).

â–ª  For those that were excited about Miami Broward Carnival, you are in luck. In an abundance of caution, organizers rescheduled the Friday events, Kings & Queens Competition and Panorama, for Saturday, which will take place at the same venue, Central Broward Regional Park. Tickets will be honored. Sunday's event at the Miami Dade County Fairgrounds are still on.

â–ª  Broadway lovers, the show will go on as your 20th anniversary season of "Rent" will still take place this weekend at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

â–ª  The Arsht Center is still hosting a day-long party in celebration of their 10th anniversary, which will culminate in a concert featuring CeeLo Green, Spam Allstars and Tiempo Libre.

â–ª  III Points Music and Arts Festival is still on, though LCD Soundsystem has canceled. (Thievery Corporation, however, will be in the house Saturday. Take a look at our Q & A with Rob Garza.)

â–ª  If you want to head to the movie theater, we've got our critic's recommendations right here. Also showing, the 70MM Film Festival at the Coral Gables Art Cinema where you can see classic films like "Lawrence of Arabia" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" in all their old timey glory.
